Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS)

In South African schools, the National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement governs instruction and learning. A list of all permitted subjects for grades R through 12 can be found in the policy. This policy also includes program and promotion standards for grades R through 12.
